The U.S. Supreme Court denies an appeal request from Brandon McCall, a Texas death row inmate convicted of killing a police officer in 2018. This decision means McCall will now face execution.

McCall, who has been on death row since his conviction, was found guilty of murdering his suburban Dallas roommate and subsequently a police officer who attempted to take him into custody.
