UPDATE: Authorities Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Gilgo Beach Murder Victim Known as ‘Asian Doe’

Suffolk County authorities are renewing their efforts to identify one of the Gilgo Beach murder victims, releasing new details and seeking public assistance. The remains, discovered in 2011 off Ocean Parkway, belong to a young male of Asian descent who has been referred to as "Asian Doe." Officials revealed today that the victim died from blunt force trauma, was wearing women’s clothing at the time of death, and may have been a sex worker who had spent time in New York City.
