White House Holds Iran Accountable for Red Sea Ship Attacks

Washington, DC - The White House has squarely placed the blame on Iran for a series of assaults on three commercial ships in the Red Sea this past Sunday. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, in a press briefing, asserted that the attacks, orchestrated by Houthi rebels from Yemen, were facilitated and supported by Iran.

The USS Carney responded to distress calls from the targeted commercial vessels, successfully neutralizing several drones employed in the attacks. Sullivan highlighted the international scope of the incident, noting that the affected ships were affiliated with 14 different nations.
