White House Issues Apology Over Inaccurate Claims Regarding Iraq Strikes Notification

In a recent development, the White House has issued an apology for providing inaccurate information about the notification process preceding major U.S. airstrikes against Iranian-backed militias in Iraq last week.

National Security Council spokesman John Kirby initially stated on Friday that the United States had notified the Iraqi government ahead of the airstrikes targeting Iranian-backed militias. However, the White House has now admitted to the error, with Kirby acknowledging that the information provided was incorrect.
