World Central Kitchen (WCK), the humanitarian organization founded by chef José Andrés, has suspended its operations in Gaza following an Israeli airstrike that killed five individuals, including three of its aid workers. The incident occurred in Khan Younis, a city in the southern Gaza Strip, where an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle carrying WCK staff.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that the strike aimed at a Hamas militant allegedly involved in the October 7, 2023, attacks on Israel. They claimed that the individual was traveling with WCK employees. . .
