Tree of Life Shooting Sentencing Phase Begins

Pittsburgh, PA - The sentencing phase for the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting trial is set to commence today in Pittsburgh. Robert Bowers, the perpetrator of the 2018 mass shooting that claimed the lives of eleven worshippers at the Squirrel Hill synagogue, was found guilty on all 63 charges earlier this month. Now, the jury will enter the next phase to determine the appropriate punishment for the defendant.
