Boeing to Pay Workers for Unpaid Travel, Details Improvement Plan to FAA

Boeing has agreed to pay $11.5 million to employees who were not properly compensated for travel time. The Washington State Department of Labor and Industries conducted an investigation and reached a settlement with the aerospace giant to reimburse nearly 500 workers the money they were owed. According to state law, companies are required to pay workers for time spent on mandatory travel and job-related activities when travel is necessary.
