Shocking revelations of child labor have rocked the Los Angeles poultry industry, leading to a multi-million dollar settlement and raising serious questions about worker safety and corporate accountability. Exclusive Poultry Inc., a local poultry processor, has agreed to pay nearly $4 million in back wages, damages, and penalties after admitting to employing children as young as 14 in dangerous and demanding jobs.
