Canned Coffee Recalled Over Botulism Concerns

A nationwide recall has been issued for nearly 300 types of canned coffee sold by Massachusetts-based Snapchill due to concerns over potential botulism contamination. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is warning consumers to avoid these products, which could lead to severe and potentially fatal food poisoning.

Snapchill has initiated a voluntary recall after discovering that their manufacturing process may result in conditions conducive to the growth of Clostridium botulinum, the bacterium responsible for botulism. The company has taken this step out of an abundance of caution. . .
