In a poignant plea for assistance, the families of hostages held by the Palestinian militant group Hamas have converged on Capitol Hill to seek the help of U.S. lawmakers. Among the distressed voices is Ruby Chen, a New York City native, who implored legislators to do everything in their power to secure the release of his 19-year-old son and over 200 others who have been taken hostage.
