Iran Seizes Two Ships in Strait of Hormuz

Following the US Navy's attack and seizure of two Iranian ships, the Iranian military took control of two vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. 

On Wednesday, Iranian media reported the IRGC seized two ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz for maritime violations. The ships taken by Iran were the Greek-owned Epaminondas and the Panama-flagged Euphoria. Iran attacked, but did not capture a third vessel. 

The IRGC’s capture of the two vessels follows the US seizing two Iranian ships.
