In a bid to spearhead advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), Governor Kathy Hochul has unveiled a groundbreaking $20 million partnership between the State University of New York (SUNY) Albany and IBM. The collaboration aims to establish the Center for Emerging Artificial Intelligence Systems, a hub for cutting-edge AI research projects. As part of this initiative, SUNY Albany will also launch an AI Research Group comprised of 60 members dedicated to shaping future strategies in AI research.
