A civil lawsuit filed against former San Diego State University punter Matt Araiza, alleging gang rape, has been dismissed. This follows the District Attorney's decision last year not to pursue criminal charges due to insufficient evidence.

According to KGTV, the young woman's attorney, Dan Gilleon, filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit without prejudice, meaning it can be refiled later. This move came after an agreement was reached with Araiza's legal team, although the terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
