Times Square Hosts Hot Dog Eating Contest Qualifier

With summer just around the corner, the excitement for the famous Nathan's Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest is already heating up. A qualifying event was held today in Times Square, where twelve contestants had ten minutes to consume as many hot dogs as possible. The winner, Gideon Oji, a native of Nigeria, managed to devour an impressive 35 hot dogs, securing his spot in the main event at Coney Island.
