Trump Administration Accelerates Border Wall Expansion in South Texas

In a renewed push to fortify the U.S.-Mexico border, the Trump administration is intensifying efforts to expand the border wall in South Texas. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announces that constructing additional border barriers in Texas is a top priority, with the Department of Homeland Security currently overseeing 11 active contracts and five more in development for new infrastructure projects. Since President Trump’s return to office, over 77 miles of new border wall have been completed, bringing the total to approximately 700 miles nationwide.

This initiative is backed by a proposed $69 billion allocation for border security. . .
