White House Approves Massive Arms Deals to Middle East Allies 

Last week, the State Department approved a $24 billion sale of F-35s to Saudi Arabia and a $2.8 billion sale of 2,000-pound bombs to Israel. Of course, as with many of the weapons deals with Israel, the US taxpayer is paying for the massive bombs, not Tel Aviv. 

The arms deals are important for several reasons. First, the US is handing Israel tens of thousands of 2,000-pound bombs as it is in the middle of four wars to expand its border: Gaza, the West Bank. Lebanon, and Syria.
