The U.S. footwear industry is ramping up pressure on the Trump administration to eliminate tariffs on imported shoes, warning of dire consequences for businesses, workers, and consumers if current policies remain in place. While trade negotiations between the United States and China show signs of progress, the industry remains in a precarious position—vulnerable to the fallout of unresolved tariff disputes.
